Sellaronda ski area
Part of Dolomiti SuperskiThe Sellaronda ski area is bordered by four well-known Dolomite valleys. These are, clockwise and starting in the northwest, Val Gardena, followed by Val Badia in the northeast, the Arabba ski region in the southeast and finally Val di Fassa in the southwest. There is direct access to the Sellaronda from each of these valleys, making it easy to join the route in Selva, Colfosco, Corvara, Arabba or Canazei.
The Sellaronda ski circuit can be travelled in two directions. The clockwise route is marked with orange arrows. The counter-clockwise route is marked in green. All ski slopes are connected by modern lifts, which, together, cover a further 13 or 15 kilometres. The Dolomiti Superski ski pass, which allows you to use all the lifts without problem, makes the Sellaronda a fantastic skiing experience.

Accessible in both directions
Around the Sella Massif
23 kilometres of pure skiing adventureThe Sellaronda consists of a total of 23 kilometres of pistes, which are divided between easy blue and medium-difficulty red pistes. Although the circuit around the Sella massif is relatively easy and can be mastered by skiers with average ability, the circuit does require a degree of fitness. The Sellaronda is, therefore, not recommended for beginners.
It is advisable to enter the Sellaronda ski area before 10:00 am if possible, as you need to allow at least six hours for the entire circuit. You should also bear in mind that the Sellaronda ski area closes again at 5:00 pm. This requires crossing the last pass in time to reach the lifts for the last descent. The total duration of the ascents and descents with the lifts is two hours. In addition, there are occasional waiting times at the lifts and, of course, the necessary breaks for refreshments in the numerous huts in the ski area.
