Sellaronda in a clockwise directionThe Sellaronda is a stunning ski circuit that takes you around the Sella massif on ski slopes connected by lifts. One of the special features of this famous tour is that it is suitable not only for advanced skiers. It's also for those with intermediate experience and skills who can complete the route without significant difficulty in a single day. However, you should set off before 10:00 am and decide in advance which direction you want to ski.

Sellaronda clockwise
DescriptionTo ride the Sellaronda in a clockwise direction, follow the orange signs and arrows. If you start in Selva Gardena, first take the Dantercepies lift (#30) up to the Passo Gardena. Take a deep breath and enjoy the view before heading down towards Colfosco and the Alta Badia ski area.
From Colfosco, the Borest lift takes you to Corvara. Here you have the opportunity to take a short trip to the world-famous Gran Risa via Col Alto. The detour to this World Cup piste, which is reserved for experienced skiers, will take you about an hour. A ride on the BoƩ lift awaits you in Corvara. From there, the route takes you to Passo Longo and finally down to Arabba.
Take the Portavescoso lifts here, enjoy the view of the Marmolada and continue with the lift to the top of the Passo Pordoi. From the Pordoi ski area, continue to Pian Frataces/Lupo Bianco. Take the Pradel-Rodella lift to Col Rodella and continue up to the Passo Sella. Enjoy the long descent to the Plan de Gralba/Piz Sella ski area. Now you are almost back at the starting point in the Val Gardena ski area and can look back on an eventful day on the Sellaronda.

Important Information- You need the Dolomiti Superski ski pass for the Sellaronda. This entitles you to use all the lifts in the Sellaronda ski areas.
- There are numerous inviting huts on and around the Sellaronda. Plan enough time for an extensive lunch break.
- Be sure to check the current weather forecast before setting off. In difficult weather conditions, some lifts on the Sellaronda remain closed.
- Start as early as possible and never after 10:00 am. During the season, there may be waiting times at the lifts. For a safe return, it is important to cross the last pass before 3:30 pm.
