Part of the ladin cultureThe Dolomites are also a popular tourist destination because of their living traditions. Canazei was first mentioned in documents in 1337 under the name Canatsché. Numerous events allow you to get to know the customs of the Ladin people. A highlight in the packed calendar of events is Te anter i Tobié, which takes place every year in July when the doors to the traditional barns are opened for three days.
